
2024 Impact Report – Assessing, Rebranding, Evolving!

From the Board
2024 has been a transformational year for fluo . From welcoming new team members to rebranding and embarking on the B Corp certification journey, we have taken meaningful steps toward becoming a truly impactful and sustainable tech agency. While the road ahead is long and challenging, we are fully committed to growing fluo into a force for good.
Our impact
Carbon Reporting
In May we published our first sustainability report. We measured or calculated all the emissions generated by our activities and committed to becoming carbon neutral by reducing what we can and offsetting what we can’t, using certified carbon credits from Gold Standard. In 2025, we will explore additional measures to furhter reduce our impact.
EcoVadis Scorecard
In April 2024 we undertook the EcoVadis assessment. This was an important milestone in our journey towards improvement. The assessment helped us identify which key policies were missing and guided us through strengthening our processes to ensure that everything at fluo is truly aligned with our values as an ethical business.
Article of Association
We reviewed and modified the objects of our articles, in line with the recommendations from B Lab. The new objects of the company are:
- To carry out such business and related activities as will, in the opinion of the directors, help organisations use technology for the benefit of clients, their employees, their value chains, their local communities, and society worldwide. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and application of technology to transform innovative ideas into high-quality, sustainable solutions.
- To promote the success of the company for the benefit of its members as a whole while operating responsibly and sustainably.
- To conduct its business and operations in a manner that:
- Balances profit and purpose, delivering a material positive impact on society and the environment as a whole;
- Considers the interests of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, local communities, and the environment;
- Promotes ethical, inclusive, and sustainable business practices.
- To continuously assess and improve the company’s impact on society and the environment, aligning its governance and operations with the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance.
Networks & Associations
We have proudly been a Living Wage Employer since 2018 and have been active supporters of Social Enterprise UK and Enterprise Nation for several years. In 2024, we strengthened our commitment to responsible business by joining 1% for the planet, the Better Business Network, and signing the Better Business Act. These communities align deeply with our values and our mission to create a positive impact on society and the environment through our work. They also connect us with like-minded businesses and entrepreneurs, allowing us to learn from those on a similar journey while holding ourselves accountable to our commitments.
Disability Confident Committed
In May we signed up to the Disability Confident – Level 1 scheme. The Disability Confident scheme is designed as a continuous learning journey, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain, and develop disabled people. Apprenticeship Program
Throughout the year we continued our excellent collaboration with Big Creative Educaion to offer two apprenticeships in Digital Marketing and Content Production. Most of the marketing material (online and offline) in 2024 was designed and produced by our incredible apprentices!
R&D Impact
We continued to work our internal projects, primarily our IoT vechile tracker, which has been developed with an increased focus on diagnostics and health vehicle monitoring. Our aim is to help drivers/riders increase their vehicle’s lifespan and safety while also monitoring and reducing emissions.
Our Future Goals and Commitment to Positive Impact
In 2025, we aim to deepen our relationships with social enterprises, launch our IoT motorcycle tracker, and enhance our company’s inclusivity policies. As we completed the rebrand to fluo , our vision is to become a dynamic tech agency that fosters innovation, purpose, and ethical impact at its core.
